Border to border - skiing event

Border to Border Ski is respectable 420 km long ski tour. Even if it may sound overwhelming, don’t worry! Every year there are skiers from beginners to experts taking part.

Some skiers come to the event to test themselves and their physical condition. They ski the whole trip and clock their time. This is ok. However, there are every year also those who just started to ski or even try skiing for the very first time. Most of the skiers are middle level cross-country skiers, who want to enjoy the surrounding nature, people, food and new culture as much as the physical performance. This is ok too!

How is it possible to have the experts and beginners in the same group then? It is possible due to our excellent bus system. The skier is welcome to hop on or hop off the bus whenever needed. The safety snowmobiles can give a ride to the nearest service point. Even better is if the skier plans the skiing day already at the hotel so that the skiing kilometers match his/her skiing level. It is possible to ski the whole day or for example start from the middle. It is up to you! If you do not feel like skiing at all, you can take a bus, cheer to your skiing friends, experience the nature or enjoy your day at the hotel.

Whether you are an experienced skier or a beginner, you will enjoy your Border to Border Ski. However, if you a beginner in skiing, we recommend to train a little bit beforehand. This way you are able to enjoy your holiday to the maximum. For those familiar with skiing but have not exercised in some time, this is a good reason to start! Overall, we welcome to the event beginners as well as experienced ones, but for your own good and enjoyment, we recommend joining the event in at least in moderate physical condition.
